Trending – Team GB go for Gold at Olympics 2024
Much of today’s trending stories are related to the summer Olympics in Paris as the medals start to roll in. Team GB secured its first Gold medal thanks to Laura Collett, Tom McEwan and Ros Canter who won in the Eventing team jumping. Tom Daley and Noah Williams secured a Silver medal and Andy Murray’s dramatic comeback keeps him in the running for a medal for Team GB. The tennis legend is set to retire after the Olympics.
Many of the back pages cover Adam Peaty’s Silver – he was beaten to gold by the smallest of margins – just 0.02 of a second behind Italy’s Nicolò Martinenghi.
