Travel update: Ministers poised to add at least 15 countries onto green list
The i says ministers are poised to add at least 15 countries onto the green list when the Government announces the latest review of the travel traffic light system tomorrow.
It comes as Boris Johnson is coming under sustained pressure from the travel and aviation sector to scrap the amber category altogether in a bid to make travel more accessible for holidaymakers.
Business group the CBI warned the Government needed to open up travel at a faster rate due to fears the aviation and holiday industry was in the “last chance saloon” to save its summer season.
