Travel chaos across London as five Tube lines suspended or delayed | UK News

Rail travel across London has been seriously disrupted this evening as several lines have been part suspended or face severe delays.

A track fault at Paddington has caused severe delays on a large portion of the Elizabeth Line, while the Bakerloo line and London Overground have been part suspended.

The disruption at Paddington is set to last until 9pm, National Rail says, as a safety inspection of the track is ongoing.

There’s been a signal failure at Queen’s Park and a fire alert at Morden which are all contributing to the travel chaos as rush hour wraps up for the evening.

The Piccadilly line is also facing minor delays.

Full details of the suspensions and delays are below:

The Bakerloo line has no service between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone due to a signal failure at Queen’s Park. There are minor delays on the rest of the line.

The London Overground is also part suspended between Queen’s Park and Watford Junction for the same reason, with good service on all other routes.

There are severe delays on the Elizabeth line between Paddington and Heathrow Terminals/Reading/Abbey Wood due to a train fault at Paddington. There’s good service on the rest of the line.

The Northern line is part suspended between Tooting Broadway and Morden, with minor delays on the rest of the line, due to a fire alert at Morden.

And the Piccadilly line has minor delays between Acton Town and Uxbridge/Heathrow Airport due to train cancellations, but service is good on the rest of the line.

Transport for London (TfL) says all other lines have good service.
