Tommy Fury unveils first-ever tattoo after shutting Molly-Mae Hague down when she suggested matching ink

Despite being adamant that the tattoo life wasn’t for him, Tommy Fury has now got his first inking.

    Well, sort of.

The boxer, 24, previously expressed reluctance to get tatted, despite wife-to-be Molly-Mae Hague, also 24, being keen to get a tattoo tribute to their baby daughter Bambi.

Asked during an Instagram Q&A earlier this year whether she would ever get a tattoo, Molly-Mae replied: ‘Omg, I’ve been really thinking about getting a little ‘B’ somewhere… but Tommy won’t do it with me because he doesn’t want one and I only want to do it together.’

Tommy seems to have had a change of heart though, as he unveiled his first tat on social media.

Shocking everyone, the Love Islander’s ink is actually the MyProtein logo and is placed on his back.

…but is it real? (Picture: MyProtein)

As he spoke about getting inked, Tommy admitted on camera: ‘I will be honest with you, I never thought I would see myself in a tattoo parlour anytime soon.’

On his previous response to Molly-Mae’s matching tattoo suggestion, he added: ‘I shut it down pretty immediately. I was like, “Nah I am not getting a tattoo.” I just never thought I would get a tattoo.’

However, Tommy has gone back on his word, getting the black symbol etched between his shoulder blades.

Tommy doesn’t think Molly-Mae will be a fan, though.

‘I will get a few glasses of wine down before I tell her,’ he confessed. ‘We’ll see what she says.’

When the tattoo was revealed to Tommy in all its glory, the athlete was relieved it wasn’t ‘terrible’.

‘I think my dad will approve, but I guess we will have to wait and see for that one,’ he said.

‘It is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It didn’t hurt that much.’

The comments section of the video was filled with flame emoji and stunned fans, as one wrote: ‘No way!!!😮’

But, not everyone is so convinced that Tommy’s ink is legit.

‘No way is he tattooing with him leaning on his elbows!’, one person wrote.

‘Exactly, especially the way his shoulders are sitting as well’, another agreed.

The so-called tattoo comes ahead of Tommy’s next big fight.

After going up against Jake Paul, he’s now taking on another YouTube giant on home turf in Manchester next month – it’s KSI.

Of course, there’s been plenty of fighting talk already, with Tommy leaving one Good Morning Britain presenter startled when he gave KSI – real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji – a tongue-lashing.

While being interviewed by Kate Garraway on GMB, Tommy was played a pre-recorded message that KSI left ahead of their joust.

Responding with an aggressive message of his own, Tommy began: ‘Mark my words, and this is a message to KSI. Cut all of that other stuff out, cut all of the fancy talk and the stupid laughs out, and the bandanas and whatever you want to do – come October 14th, his life will be ruined.’

He continued: ‘All his singing, his podcasting, his business, it’ll all be finished, because mark my words – he’ll be leaving Manchester in an ambulance. I can quite clearly guarantee it.’

Kate, 56, was visibly shocked by Tommy’s words, exclaiming: ‘Crikey! I’m actually getting a little bit disturbed by all of this.’

‘I want to tell you all to calm down now and have a cup of tea! I don’t think I’m cut out for boxing – the chat,’ she joked.

Tommy and KSI will go head-to-head on October 14, with Tommy hoping to continue his winning streak against social media stars.
