Monday evening, three settlers were injured in a stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian youth in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The suspect was shot and arrested.
According to Hebrew media, the operation took place on Jaffa Street in occupied Jerusalem, near the major bus station, where the settlers’ movement is active.
The injured settlers are in their twenties, according to Israeli media, and include students from radical religious institutes.
This operation comes hours after a Palestinian youth was shot by the occupation for allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack near the “Etzion” junction, south of Bethlehem.
Local sources and eyewitnesses reported that the occupation shot the young man, Muhammad Kamal Blue “Thawabet”, 27 years old, from the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.
Ambulance crews were unable to reach the injured young man and provide first aid because of occupation forces.
After an Israeli soldier was wounded in a stabbing attack in Jerusalem’s Old City, Hazem Al-Jolani, a Jerusalemite doctor, was slain two days earlier when the Israeli occupation opened fire on him near the Council Gate in Old Jerusalem.
Following the operation, Palestinian youths in the neighborhood were attacked by occupation forces.
