Thomas Muller is mulling over his next move with Manchester United reportedly interested in the Bayern Munich star when his contract expires next summer.
Muller, 34, has spent his entire career with the German giants but has found his first-team opportunities limited this season.
He has been limited to just four Bundesliga starting appearances this season with his first Champions League start coming on Wednesday night as Bayern were held to a goalless draw by Copenhagen.
Muller’s current contract at the Allianz Arena expires at the end of the season with Bild reporting he is unlikely to sign a new contract.
United are among the clubs said to be ready to offer him a deal next summer with Erik ten Hag an admirer of the Germany international.
United reportedly failed with an ambitious bid to bring Muller to Old Trafford last January while one of Erik ten Hag’s predecessors in Louis van Gaal was also eager to sign him during his time in Manchester.
Muller’s future remains uncertain and when asked about a possible contract extension on Wednesday night, he said: ‘Let’s wait and see, we’ll take it from game to game.’

Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel has not publicly commented on the rumours but has reaffirmed his desire for Muller to see out his career at Bayern.
‘Of course we want him on our team,’ Tuchel said earlier in the month. ‘It goes without saying that he wants to continue.
‘He is in great shape, keen to train and play, he is a footballer through and through. Why shouldn’t he continue playing at the highest level?
‘It’s only November now, so of course we can’t say how his role will develop, but he is a legendary player, an icon for our team and gets the maximum respect.’
Speaking to Sky Germany after the draw with Copenhagen, fellow Bayern stalwart Manuel Neuer pleaded with the club and Muller to come to an agreement.
‘Thomas Müller simply belongs to Bayern Munich. We know and appreciate his class and I assume that if Thomas talks to Bayern and Bayern talks to Thomas, that it will work’.
