It’s the school disco, and you need something colourful and sugary for your tastebuds. Of course, the sweets you munch on are Millions – after ripping open a tube and crunching the little chewy balls.Â
But now, our childhood faves have had a reinvention.
Instead of tiny balls, you can Millions in the form of chewy laces, or ‘spaghetti’.They’re available in sour flavours shaped like one of Italy’s iconic cuisines.

From raspberry and strawberry, to the superior cola and bubblegum flavours, these tiny treats were such a beloved snack in all of our childhoods. And yes, we all mixed the flavours together at some point, too.Â
So far the new Millions sweets are on sale in strawberry and bubblegum flavours. Instagram food blogger @ukfoodiefinder found packets of both flavours in B&M for £1. They’re also listed on online sweet shops including Jessica’s Sweets and Happy Candy UK for the same price.
The teeny tiny balls were created by the Scottish confectionary company Golden Casket in 1991. And don’t worry, the original ball version is still available.

This isn’t the first time Millions have had a makeover; fans can also grab a swirl lollipop in strawberry, banana, apple and bubblegum flavours, candy floss, jelly babies and cables – which are basically like strawberry laces with a white filling inside.Â
The Millions characters all have names
The cute characters on the packaging representing each flavour have their own unique name.
Aubrey – Strawberry
Ron Brew – Iron Brew
Pip – Apple
Kid Cola – Cola
Hugh Blue – Bubblegum
Ruby – Raspberry
Fuzz & Buzz – Blackcurrant
While fans of Millions will be delighted to indulge in nostalgia by grabbing the new sweets, sadly, many of our beloved sweets and treats have faded into the past.
A survey from December last year has revealed the UK’s most missed discontinued snack is Vice Versas.
The chocolates also debuted in the UK in 1991 and they were a mix of two types of Minstrel-like treats: one was milk chocolate encased in a white coloured sugar coating, the other of white chocolate in a brown coating.
Meanwhile, several months after Nestlé confirmed it was scrapping Caramac, heartbroken fans have found their very own ‘top tier’ alternative thanks to Cadbury in the form of Caramilk.
Although Caramilk isn’t new, as it first launched in the UK in 2021, it seems some have only just realised it shares similarities with the discontinued favourite because of its blend of white chocolate and caramelised milk powder.
Cadbury have also been busy giving its classic products a new twist, too. White Mega Buttons are currently being sold in Asda, and their arrival in-store was shared on Instagram. They’re made out of white chocolate and are a lot bigger compared to the OGs.
