Many have been waiting with bated breath for an update on whether Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield would return to front This Morning together next week following reports of a ‘feud’.
It’s been a tense few days for the presenters of the popular ITV daytime show, with insiders alleging that the pair no longer talk behind the scenes and that their friendship had ‘cooled’.
On Saturday night, sources even claimed that Holly, 42, has cut ties with her co-host, 61, as she sets her sights on fronting the programme either with Alison Hammond or on her own.
However, ITV has confirmed that Holly and Phil will be back on the famous sofa together on Monday.
Announcing the news on This Morning’s official Twitter page, a tweet outlining tomorrow’s show said: Coming up on tomorrow’s #ThisMorning with Phillip and Holly:
‘⭐️ First ever I’m a Celeb legend Myleene Klass🗞️ Gyles and Camilla give their morning view🏋️ Daniel Craig’s trainer gets us into shape🐕 The stars of cult comedy Colin from Accounts.’

It added: ‘And did we mention… 12 at 12 is back, which could see you winning up to £12,000! All that and more, from 10am on ITV1, STV and ITVX.’
Fans have expressed an interest in tuning into Monday’s programme to see if they can spot signs of friction between the pair for themselves.
One wrote: ‘I won’t be watching for any of this – I’ll be watching to see the tension between Holly and Phillip, lovely.’
Another said: ‘I imagine most people will watching for other reasons!!!!!’
A third added: ‘Predicting high ratings for tomorrow’s episode.’
Reports of a falling out between Holly and Phil first transpired last week, with insiders claiming that the pair are not on good terms behind-the-scenes, amid a dwindling relationship.
Phil, however, appeared to downplay rumours of a feud and he heaped praise on Holly in a statement shared with The Sun.
‘As I have said before, Holly is my rock,’ he said. ‘We’re the best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.
‘Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.
‘The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.’

However, insiders later claimed that Phil’s statement had ‘blindsided’ Holly, who wasn’t aware he was going to speak on their friendship.
It’s also been reported that This Morning bosses are in crisis talks about Phil’s future on the show amid concerns about his dwindling popularity with viewers.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1.
