This clever duvet has an adjustable warmth design for this up-and-down weather (and it’s currently more than half price)

There’s a duvet that is ideal for all-year-round use as, get this, it has an adjustable warmth level.

Sod AI, this is the type of scientific development we can get on board with.

This so-called ‘summer’ weather really can’t make up its mind and is about as indecisive as we are when we’re given free reign of the menu on takeaway night.

This constant blowing hot and cold can make bedding choice a real question mark as we go between covering up with a thick blanket and kicking off the covers to lay naked with nothing but a fan on our skin.

    Oh the mental imagery.

The Emma 4-Season Duvet has two different layers, which allows you to customise easily depending on the weather that day. Plus, the duvet cover is made of 100% cotton so it’s breathable and will keep you cool and sweat-free.

It may seem a little spenny for a duvet but it’s currently over 55% off in Emma’s Back To School Sale and you can’t really put a price on a good night’s sleep.

In terms of togs (and no, we’re not talking about those disc things you used to collect in the 90s) the spring/summer layers are a 3.5 tog rating, and the autumn/winter layer is 7. Plus, used together you can get a tog rating of 10.5. Like the age old saying, every tog has its day.

Plus, the reviews are VERY positive. We’re talking Leo in The Revenant or Olivia Colman in The Favourite. If there was an Academy Award for duvets, this baby would be taking to the stage to thank god and their agent.

One customer said of Emma’s duvet offering: ‘Expensive but worth the money,’ whilst another added: ‘Very light and soft duvet, so comfortable.’

One wrote: ‘Very happy customer. Great quality duvet and pillows as well. If you don’t mind spending that little more for quality and comfort, buy a EMMA mattress. The duvet is great for those warm, sticky nights, because it’s light, airy, and cool.’

Another said: ‘The two part duvet is really good, very warm and comfortable, light, and the all seasons clip together idea is brilliant. Really happy.

And one well-rested customer simply added: ‘Emma got kipping sorted.’

Not only is Emma famed for duvets but the brand is ace for its mattresses (which are also on sale at the minute).

Yep, we’ve reached that age where we bang on about the benefits of a good quality mattress.

As one customer said: ‘It’s the best mattress I’ve ever had. I regularly suffered with insomnia and my old mattress was awful to relax on, if I woke I stayed awake. But if I wake for any reason now I’m straight back to sleep. It’s so hard to get up in the mornings!’

MORE : We’re mesmerised by how much dust and dirt this handheld vacuum sucks from a mattress

Emma says it uses science and research while working alongside its in-house sleep consultancy team to ensure products get you a great eight hours sleep.

Plus, there’s that Back To School Sale we mentioned…

So while we can’t account for anxiety, your neighbours blaring sound system or the image of Donald Trump’s mugshot at least your hard mattress or stuffy duvet won’t be the thing keeping you up at night…

We think we’ve found the perfect mattress for all four seasons…
