The White Lotus season 2 star Theo James has sent fans into a frenzy after stripping completely naked in episode 1 of the HBO show.
The comedy returned to television screens overnight in the US, with the series airing on NOW in the UK, and James’s character Cameron wasted no time in getting naked to change into a pair of swimming trunks.
During the scene, Cameron takes off his clothes in eyeshot of his best friend’s wife, Harper (played by Aubrey Plaza).
Although not full frontal, Cameron’s penis can be seen dangling in between his thighs, with many fans left debating whether it is real or whether James made us of a prosthetic.
Naturally, viewers were quick to react to the X-rated scenes, with one writing: ‘I thought I had seen the most naked Theo James in The Time Traveller’s Wife but that scene in The White Lotus, oh help me, God!’

‘Pausing the changing scene with Theo James to make sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me,’ said another.
‘I was not prepared to see Theo James’ penis today but I’m not mad,’ a third added.
Ahead of the episode airing, James revealed that the original scene was cut down.

‘The initial version we shot was way too much,’ Theo said in an interview with ET. ‘So, we did a more subtle version. They toned it [down].’
He also shared that the reasons behind Cameron letting it all hang out might not be as innocent as it first seems.
‘It’s interesting, [because] at first… we don’t know whether it’s deliberate or [if] it’s accidental. But it reveals itself,’ Theo teased.

James is no stranger to stripping off, having previously done so in shows like The Time Traveller’s Wife and Sanditon.
‘It is in my contract that I’m not allowed to do anything without being completely naked,’ he joked.
The White Lotus season 2 airs Mondays in the UK on NOW.
