The Traitors has us captivated already (thank you Diane), and when we’re not thinking about if the Faithfuls are close to cracking the case we’re admiring Claudia Winkleman’s wardrobe.
One particular item in the 51-year-old’s wardrobe has gone down well with viewers.
For the second episode of the second series, she wore an oversized green cable knit jumper. But this wasn’t your average piece of knitwear, as the elbows featured large smiley faces.
If she keeps heading in this direction then the theme of 2030’s Met Gala will be ‘An Ode to The Traitors’ ultimate Mother.’
Fans of the garment immediately took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their admiration.
‘I need that jumper Claudia is wearing. NEED! Those Smiley face elbow patches are LIFE!’ wrote social media user Tweak81.

Fellow Xer Carrie Walsh added: ‘Utterly obsessed with Claudia’s outfit here.’
User Georgina Afeba felt forced to use an expletive to share just how much of a big fan she is.
‘I’m sorry but Claudia’s jumper with smiley faces with fringes on the elbows is just too f*****g good,’ she shared.

Well, we’ve got some good news and some bad news, which one do you want to hear first? Good – read on. Bad – skip the next paragraph and then return.
The good news is we’ve found the jumper! It’s from a brand called Kapital and although the green version is currently not in stock, you can buy it in a lovely brown hue on Mr Porter (it’s menswear, but as Claudia perfectly demonstrates it looks great on everyone) and Blue In Green Soho.
The bad news is it costs £480-£488, so it’s not going to be a cheap purchase. We don’t want to condone reckless spending, but it is described as being ‘cable-knitted from wool yarns specially selected for their soft handle.’
Imagine this dream scenario – a colleague compliments your jumper and you simply reply ‘Thanks so much, its wool yarn was specially selected for its soft handle’ then walk away. The moment would enter the office history books (we’re not sure if it’s for all the right reasons, but you look great).

Claudia has previously revealed exactly who she looks to for style inspiration, and it’s as niche as we can expect from our quirky queen.
The celebrities at the forefront of Claudia’s stylist’s mind in 2023 were ‘Princess Anne meets Ronnie Corbett meets Madonna when she married Guy Ritchie,’ she told The Times.
We don’t know if they are still going down that unusual road, but either way, it all seems to be working out well so far!
