The Traitors US star Bob the Drag Queen has defending himself after furious fans blasted the ‘idiotic’ decision to send Dorinda Medley packing in the first murder.
Season three of the US version of the hit competition kicked off across the pond last week, days after the UK series premiered on BBC, with the star-studded cast immediately getting very comfortable in the Scottish castle.
After a bombshell twist, Bob, Danielle Reyes and Carolyn Wiger became Traitors – with Rob ‘Boston Rob’ Mariano eventually joining their secret gang.
As a trio, they promptly decided that the Real Housewives of New York icon would be their first victim, in a bizarre bid to ‘disrupt’ her fellow Bravo stars, while also piling the attention on Lord Ivar Mountbatten.
The decision didn’t go down too well with Dorinda or her remaining Housewives pals, with tensions continuing to rise after Bob led the way on sending Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan packing next.
Those watching home were also devastated and immediately flocked to social media to call out their plans, slamming the Traitors for ‘dumb’ gameplay.

Twitter user Nick fumed: ‘These are the dumbest traitors I’ve ever seen. ‘Why would you think the Housewives are the strongest alliance on this cast when Dorinda has the biggest target on her back after the first challenge?
‘And then you go ahead and kill her? They are idiotic. #TheTraitorsUS.’

Aldenadelena wrote: ‘Murdering Dorinda was a dumb decision everyone was already suspecting her, might as well keep her around and keep the heat off of you #TraitorsUS.’
Over on Reddit, Ogtratiorsfan92 suggested that Bob and Danielle were ‘ruining the game’ and branded them ‘pompous and arrogant’.
They added: ‘Bob is a terrible traitor and I truly feel he’s murdering people who he thinks will outshine him that’s why Dorinda and Ayan are both gone. I hope he gets banished Thursday.’
As KindnessWins1111 added: ‘Sooo overproduced! It’s ridiculous. The worst Traitors. The worst acting. Again coming for the housewives out of TV jealousy. Awkwardly cheesy tv [sic].’
Having absolutely none of it, Bob took to Twitter to call out the reaction, urging everyone to ‘move on’.
Quoting a post from a Twitter user saying the RuPaul’s Drag Race star should know who Dorinda is, he replied: ‘Well she’s gone. Move on.’
He continued: ‘Do these Housewife fans think I’m scared? Honey, I survived Drag Race Twitter. At least DR fans tweet from their real profiles.’
In a final message, Bob added: ‘Before I go to bed. . . Y’all know we’re not ACTUALLY murdering people. . . right?’
The Drag Race contestant previously defended the game play in a video on YouTube last week, telling viewers who were mad about his actions to ‘get over it’.
Explaining his reasoning for ridding the castle of Housewives, he said: ‘The Survivor people do not like each other. The Housewives are friends.
‘The Survivor people and the Big Brother people have all backstabbed each other; they’ve hurt each other, so they are not buddy-buddy. The Housewives are buddy-buddy, and we do not think they will turn on themselves.
‘We do all agree to get rid of a Housewife, but Carolyn didn’t want to do Dorinda because she thinks that she’s a good shield. I don’t think so, I didn’t hear people floating Dorinda’s name.’
Sharing his thought process for how the game should be played, Bob explained that he wanted to go after those who weren’t at risk of being voted out at the roundtable.
‘We decided that Dorinda was going to be our kill,’ he added. ‘I don’t know this woman. I don’t know that she’s this icon on Real Housewives. I don’t know she’s causing a scene.
‘I have no clue who Dorinda is, so I’m like, “Girl, kill her. I don’t know, let’s pick someone.” Because they’re all strangers to me.’
