Boris Johnson is eyeing up the “mother of all political comebacks” following Liz Truss’s resignation, according to The Sun. 

The paper’s front page headline reads “Bojo: I’ll be back”. The paper reports the former prime minister started a bid to get his old job back, but leadership candidates would need the support of at least 100 MPs to get to the ballot.

The front page refers to Liz Truss as the “disaster PM” and features a large image of Boris Johnson. 

There is also space left on the front page for reports Cristiano Ronaldo may be on his way out of Manchester United.
