The Great British Bake Off 2023 winner has officially been confirmed.
The fourteenth series came to an end tonight, on Tuesday November 28, with Dan, Matty and Josh taking to the tent for one last time.
The last ten weeks have seen plenty of baking disasters, the return of Noel Fielding’s iconic jumpers, and its fair share of innuendos.
For the first time ever, This Morning host Alison Hammond joined Noel, Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood as she replaced Matt Lucas this season.
And now, we have our winner.

After a multi-layered Showstopper cake, a lardy cake Technical and a Signature bake made of choux pastry, it was revealed that Matty had won The Bake Off.
The 28-year-old PE and science teacher from Cambridgeshire beat Dan, 42, and Josh, 27, in a tense final, despite feeling ‘deflated’ after coming in third place in the technical.
In response to Matty’s ‘Final Celebration’ Cake, Dame Prue branded it ‘great’ while Paul said: ‘Absolutely delicious’.
And it proved to be his winning bake, leaving him speechless at the news he’d won.
‘I never thought I’d be on this, let alone win it,’ he said.
The Great British Bake Off is available to watch on Channel 4.
