The Crown: Diana and Dodi storyline teased by Netflix in season six pictures
A series of images for the final season of The Crown have been released and suggest Princess Diana’s relationship with Dodi Fayed will be one of the storylines in the sixth season.
The series will dramatise events of the late 1990s including the last days of Princess Diana’s life.
Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki is portraying Diana in the final series.
Season 6 will be split into two parts, with the first four episodes released on 16 November.
In the images from season six, Diana (Debicki) is seen in a car with Dodi (Khalid Abdalla). Both died on 31 August 1997, when their car crashed in a tunnel in Paris as they were being chased by paparazzi photographers on motorbikes.
The death of Princess Diana shocked Britain and sent the nation into mourning.
