Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales has a cute nickname she uses at her posh London school to feel like a ‘normal student’.
Despite being the children of the future King, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George live quite differently from other kids.
They enjoy the finest food and receive top-notch education. However, their parents want them to have as normal a childhood as possible.
The family lives in Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, Berkshire, and the children go to Lambrook School in the beautiful Berkshire countryside.
At school, they are treated like any other students. Even their names are simplified, with Charlotte previously known as Charlotte Cambridge among her friends.

This was when her dad was the Duke of Cambridge, but now he is the Prince of Wales, so it’s likely that she and her siblings use ‘Wales’ as their surname.
During a trip to Northern Ireland in 2019, the Princess of Wales revealed another nickname for Princess Charlotte.
A mum named Laura-Ann shared on Instagram that during their chat, Kate referred to her daughter as ‘Lottie’.
So, it’s likely that at school, Princess Charlotte is simply known as Lottie Wales.
The Prince of Wales is also known to use a very special nickname to refer to his only daughter after he was caught using it during a family outing.

William and the children had been visiting the garden Kate helped design for the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019 when he referred to Charlotte as “mignonette.”
The French word is used to describe something “small, sweet and delicate,” or something “cute.”
Much like his sister, Prince George also has a special school nickname that has been in use since he started attending at age four.
The ten-year-old future king has been known as PG Tips because of his initials. And he’s said to like the sobriquet so much he’s even had it shortened to just Tips when he’s with friends.
