Thandiwe Newton splits from husband Ol Parker following 24 years of marriage – report
British actress Thandiwe Newton splits from her husband as the British actress and filmmaker husband Ol Parker go separate ways after 24-years together.
The Westworld actress was forced to deny reports that she had been fired from the Magic Mike film over an argument about the Will Smith Oscars 2022 slaps with her co-star Channing Tatum.
Newton was forced to clarify that she had quit due to personal reasons. Now the star is facing claims she has split from her husband.
Newton and Parker married in 1998
A source on set told PageSix: “Thandiwe had been acting strangely on set. It became clear she couldn’t play the role. There is a lot going on in her personal life, she and her husband have separated.
“She seemed so stressed, she even brought her two pet rabbits to her hotel for emotional support.”
Newton and Parker married in 1998 and have three children together: Ripley, 21, Nico, 17, and Booker, eight.
Why did her marriage fail?
So why did her marriage fail? various sources have said many things. But reports her marriage had ended came after the reports she was fired from Magic Mike, her agent denied this saying she stepped down to deal with family matters.
“Thandiwe Newton has made the difficult decision to step away from the production of Warner Bros Pictures’ Magic Mike’s Last Dance to deal with family matters,” a spokesperson told The Guardian in a statement.
Salma Hayek was announced as the replacement for Newton in the third Magic Mike film as the female lead.
