A teenager who robbed musician Aled Jones threatened to attack him with a machete, a court has heard.
The Walking In The Air singer, 45, was robbed in Chiswick, West London in July while walking with his son Lucas.
A 16-year-old thug stole Jones’ £17,000 Rolex watch, after threatening to chop his arm off with a machete if he did not hand it over.
The youth appeared at Wimbledon Youth Court on Thursday where his solicitor pleaded guilty on his behalf, as he was two hours late to the hearing.
The Mail Online reports the teenager was bailed to appear at another youth court in September for sentencing.
