Teenager stabbed to death in New Cross – southeast London on Wednesday as knife violence in the capital grows.

The Teen, a 16-year-old boy was been stabbed multiple times in New Cross, southeast London.

    Teenager stabbed to death

Police had been called to a venue in Angus Street, near New Cross, just after 16:00 BST on Wednesday over reports of a fight.

The boy was found with stab injuries and despite treatment by paramedics was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.

    Police investigating the incident

The Met Police said no arrests had been made and “urgent inquiries are ongoing”.

An urgent forensic examination gets underway into the night on Deptford Green outside the Moonshot Centre after the murder of a 16-year-old boy. It comes after a serious disorder broke out yesterday with children at a funfair on nearby Blackheath Common, SE3.

Pressure is mounting on the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan to take the initiative and clamp down on the amount of knife crime in the Capital.
