Taylor Swift debuted another hair-raising look as she kicked off her Eras tour – but not in the conventional sense.
The pop sensation, 33, kicked off her eagerly-anticipated Eras tour last week which will see the chart-topper visit a number of US cities.
Taylor’s second night in Glendale, Arizona, proved to be electric in more ways than one as she suffered a hairstyle malfunction during her mammoth three-hour set.
Video posted to social media shows the star’s hair raised as she sings along to the smash hit song I Knew You Were Trouble.
The star doesn’t let her fly-away hair bother her as she belts out the high notes while looking fabulous in a black and red glittering body suit.
The T-Swift fan base has been eagerly documenting every aspect of the tour, and this was no different with Swifties taking to social media to discuss her new do, saying Taylor looked like she had been ‘struck by lightning’.

‘Even her hair knows not to sit down at a Taylor Swift concert,’ one Twitter user joked, with others branding the fly-away hair ‘her crown’.
One fan posted to Tik Tok: ‘Staticky hair Taylor is a Taylor I didn’t know I needed.’
‘You should think about the consequence of your magnetic field being a little too strong,’ another joked.
Another hopefully suggested that the surprise look ‘is an easter egg that she will re-record the static noise’.
The tour has already seen an emotional moment in which Taylor was seen with watery eyes as she sang a track dedicated to her late grandmother.
In footage from the show, the songstress can be seen with watery eyes, blinking hard at one point as if to wish the tears away while performing Marjorie.
Her grandmother, who was also a singer and musician, sadly died in June 2003 at the age of 74, when Taylor was around 13 years of age.
Taylor kicked things off in Arizona on Friday with the help of Paramore and Gayle for support.
The shows have seen Taylor take fans on a trip through her entire 17-year career with songs from each of her albums – as well as multiple looks with a number of outfit changes.
It comes after Taylor dropped four surprise songs overnight with no warning in order to celebrate the long-awaited tour.
