The Independent – Sunak poised to be PM as Johnson forced to quit 

Rishi Sunak looks set for coronation as the third prime minister this year, The Independent reports – with the newspaper describing Boris Johnson’s withdrawal from the race as a “significant humiliation”.

The front page also claims Boris Johnson bottled it and another article says Labour must provide a socialist alternative.
