Sun Sport – Silver but a heart of gold
The back page of the Sun newspaper reports on Adam Peaty’s silver medal at the Olympics – narrowly missing out on gold. ADAM PEATY was in floods of tears as he admitted swimming “broke him” after narrowly missing out on another Olympic gold.
Peaty was just 0.02 seconds off retaining his title in the Men’s 100m Breaststroke, but ultimately settled for joint silver. The Team GB superstar shared silver with Team USA’s Nic Fink after the pair finished in exactly the same time, with Italy’s Nicolo Martinenghi swooping gold.
