Ozzy Osbourne was a little lost for words after the public named Birmingham’s Commonwealth Games raging bull ‘Ozzy.’
The mechanical bull from the big event is due to be unveiled at Birmingham New Street Station next month.
Around 28,000 people voted from four options- Ozzy, Bostin, Brummie or Boulton, but there was a clear winner as 20,000 votes went to the heavy metal singer, 74, alone.
Clearly taken aback by the honour, the Paranoid hitmaker said: ‘When I was asked last year to close the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, they didn’t have to ask me twice.
‘I jumped on the next plane and flew back to England. I was honoured to close the games, and this year I’ve just been told they’ve chosen my name to name the bull, which is going to be in the station.’
He continued: ‘I can’t believe it, I’m absolutely blown away. I don’t know what to say anymore, I’m just absolutely thrilled to bits. God bless you all.’

Last week, Ozzy was spotted being wheeled around in LA, after stepping away from the spotlight.
The snaps showed a man pushing the musician as he wore a face mask, while also clutching a cane.
Ozzy, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, has faced a grueling journey back to health following a fall at his home four years ago, which led to multiple spinal injuries.
He went under the knife for a life-changing operation last year but was faced with complications during his recovery.

Announcing he was stepping back from touring on February 1 of this year, he called off his European and UK legs to recover from a fall that led to neck surgery.
Unable to stay away for good, the star later said he wanted to return once his body was ready: ‘So, if I can ever get back to where I can tour again, fine.
‘But right now, if you said to me, “Can you go on the road in a month?” I couldn’t say yes.
‘I mean, if I could tour I’d tour. But right now I can’t book tours because right now, I don’t think I could pull them off.’
