Strictly Come Dancing’s Amy Dowden has revealed she was feeling ‘groggy and drowsy’ after undergoing another procedure amid her breast cancer journey.
The professional dancer, 32, was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in May and has since undergone a single mastectomy.
In a new update, Amy disclosed on Monday night that she had been back in the hospital.
Sharing a selfie in a hospital gown to her Instagram Story, Amy captioned the upload: ‘Before the procedure this morning!
‘All went well, just feeling groggy and drowsy! Thanks for all the messages.’

She didn’t divulge the nature of the procedure.
Welsh ballroom dancer Amy, who has appeared on Strictly since 2017, was preparing to go on her honeymoon with her husband Ben Jones when she found a lump in her breast, which turned out to be cancer.
Over the past month, she has had a single mastectomy and is waiting to find out whether she will need radiotherapy or radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy to rid her of the cancer.

Since sharing her news publicly, Amy has been inundated with support, as well as from her Strictly co-stars.
Last week, Strictly head judge Shirley Ballas branded Amy as ‘one of the strongest women I know’.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Shirley told us: ‘She never feels sorry for herself and just gets on with it and I am sure she is going to do the same [now].
‘She is determined to be back on this [next] series.’
