Quinnen tells the paper she is “heartbroken” and “completely devastated.” 

Online, the Sun expresses its frustration over the in-fighting within the Tory party: “Liz Truss is not so much running a government as a political shark tank”. It continues: “So many rival factions are circling that her chances of creating the stability she needs to govern are vanishingly small”.

Footballer Gavin Stokes dies in horror car crash in Glasgow as family pay tribute to ‘amazing dad’

The Sun says A SCOTS footballer who died in a horror car crash on a busy Glasgow road has been named by cops.

Gavin Stokes, who played for the likes of Dundee United and Alloa Athletic, passed away after his vehicle lost control and left the road at around 1.10am this morning.

The incident happened at the Thornwood roundabout near to Glasgow’s Dumbarton Road.

Sadly, the 30-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Putin ‘will step up Ukraine war as revenge for Crimea bridge blast’ as officials dub explosion ‘war without rules’

The Sun says VLADIMIR Putin is expected to “step up” the war in Ukraine as he seeks revenge for the blast on his Crimea bridge.

An explosion on the 12-mile bridge just before dawn yesterday killed three people and cut a vital supply line for Russian forces on Ukraine’s southern front.

Western officials believe the Russian leader will now seek revenge for the blast on the bridge, which was a pet project for Putin.

Heartbroken family and friends’ ‘worst fears confirmed’ as Donegal petrol station blast victims named

The Sun says HEARTBROKEN family and friends of those caught up in the Donegal petrol station explosion are having their worst fears confirmed tonight as victims from the tragedy are named.

Jessica Gallagher is one of ten victims who died in the suspected gas blast that has plunged Ireland into grief.

The 23-year-old, who has been studying in Paris, was living in an apartment above the service station when it was rocked by the explosion in Co Donegal on Friday.
