One Strictly Come Dancing pro is not the biggest fan of Bobby Brazier.
The EastEnders actor, 20, is paired with Dianne Buswell, 34, this series and has truly captured the hearts of the nation, managing to avoid landing in any dreaded dance-off so far.
He’s received a mixed bag of comments and scores from the judges, though, and former pro dancer Brendan Cole agrees Craig Revel Horwood’s criticism, in particular, was ‘fair’.
Bobby and Dianne danced an American Smooth to 5 Seconds of Summer’s Ghost of You last weekend, with judge Anton Du Beke praising him for having ‘divine lifts’.
Anton said the performance had been the ‘nicest thing you’ve ever done, it was exquisite’ as he appeared lost for words after Bobby’s dance.
Fellow judge Craig, however, said the dance had been ‘let down’ by Bobby’s hands, which he criticised for lack of shape and looking ‘robotic’.

Agreeing with the show’s Mr Nasty, Brendan said: ‘I actually really liked Bobby’s number, but Craig’s feedback was fair.’
He added to Sky Bingo: ‘I think the number was really pretty. But his hands and arms do look ridiculous when he dances.
‘There’s not the attention to detail that he needs that perhaps other people are bringing.’
Brendan, 47, did say this was ‘probably the number I’ve liked the best from Bobby.’
‘I think the choreography was lovely and so was the theme, but if I was going to be critical, it did look a little bit like every other number he’s done.’
Brendan appeared in the first 15 series of Strictly until announcing in January 2018 that his contract had not been renewed.
Well, Bobby and Dianne’s performance was clearly a hit with viewers, as it was Krishnan Guru-Murthy who became the latest celebrity eliminated after dancing off against Angela Rippon.

And while the actor is great at remaining in character on the dancefloor, Bobby did have a slight NSFW slip-up in an interview with Claudia Winkleman shortly after.
Following their performance, Bobby admitted: ‘I don’t know what the American Smooth is, but that was lovely.’
He went on to say that over the week of training, which began ‘horrifically’, he was even doing the moves in his sleep.
‘I woke up one morning doing this,’ Bobby said, gesturing to his arm movements in the dance.
‘I woke myself up doing that!’
‘And the week before, the person that I shared a bed with, I turned…’
As Bobby realised what he was saying, Dianne burst into laughter with Claudia jibing: ‘Who wants to pull on that string?’
‘We’re going to halt it there,’ Claudia joked.
Maybe just stick to talking about the dance next time, Bobby – especially as rumours continue to fly about the nature of his partnership with Dianne.
Recently, fans believed they saw Bobby lean in for a kiss at the end of their Argentine tango, which was full of intensity and passion.

Dianne was keen to set the record straight afterwards, though.
‘The thing I love so much about dancing is [it’s about] telling a story. We did the dance the correct way if that’s what’s being said,’ she said on Good Morning Britain.
Bobby also responded to claims he’d tried to lock lips with his professional dance partner with a simple two-word social media comment.
Replying to an Instagram user who wrote: ‘Love Dianne, she’s an amazing dancer and teacher, but it felt a bit uncomfortable for me to watch, the dance was impeccable just didn’t like how intimate it looked,’ Bobby simply said, ‘Job done.’
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday on BBC One and iPlayer.
