Nigel Harman and Katya Jones have been forced to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing.
The pair were set to perform the Charleston in tonight’s quarter-finals but have left the competition on medical grounds.
A BBC spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘Unfortunately Nigel has sustained an injury which means he is unable to perform in tonight’s show and has had to withdraw from Strictly.’
The couple who are yet to even face a dance-off are ‘disappointed’ at the situation.
‘Nigel wasn’t in training this morning, and other dancers were informed later on in the day. He and Katya were really disappointed as they were hoping to stay in the competition,’ a source told The Sun.
‘They hadn’t been in the bottom two so had a real chance of making it to the finals.

‘Nigel has been training really hard and really threw himself into rehearsals.’
This leaves just four couples remaining in the competition – Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, and finally, Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe.
Just four hours before the announcement, Katya, 34, shared her excitement about their upcoming perfomance.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 7.25pm on BBC One.
