Helen Skelton couldn’t hold back her emotion after her friend Jayde Adams became the fourth celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night.
Jayde and her dance partner Karen Hauer departed the BBC competition show after going against Molly Rainford in the dreaded dance off.
Despite performing their energetic Charleston to The Ballad Of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) once more, judges Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, and Motsi Mabuse all decided to save Molly.
Helen was visibly upset after the results show, and took to Instagram Stories to express her devastation over Jayde’s departure.
‘I’m really happy that we’re through and thank you so much for being kind to us,’ she began.
‘I’m crying because Jayde and Karen are our girls. They’re our fam and so I am very sad.’

Gorka also had his say, adding: ‘We just want to thank everybody for your love and support and we’re just gonna keep doing our best and keep working very hard and have lots of fun and enjoy.’
In a separate post, Helen expressed her gratitude once again. ‘Thank you doesn’t quite cut it!!!’ she penned.
‘So grateful for your messages and support. Having a blast, learning loads, and trying our hardest to put a smile on your faces. I hope you’re enjoying the journey as much as we are!’
