Nottingham Forest slam ‘disturbing’ Premier League decision after points deduction
Nottingham Forest have responded following the revelation that they’ll be deducted four Premier League points for spending breaches.
The Premier League announced Forest would be docked four points for failing to comply with its profit and sustainability rules (PSR). That saw Nuno Espirito Santo’s side drop to 18th in the table and one point below Luton Town, with Forest slamming the “disturbing effect” the decision could have on the sport’s current model.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has outlined Manchester United’s new transfer approach after slamming the Glazers’ previous strategy.
The INEOS chief has made it clear he wants to avoid splashing out huge sums on just a few “great players”. Instead, he’s keen to get the right people in place behind the scenes before focusing on player recruitment.
Sir Dave Brailsford has already been appointed as his representative in Manchester. The club has also named Omar Berrada as its new chief executive. Currently at Manchester City, Berrada is set to take up his new role in the summer. Newcastle United’s Dan Ashworth is also reportedly close to becoming the sporting director.
