Max Verstappen set clear target to beat Lewis Hamilton to title ahead of Mexican GP
The Daily Express says A senior member of the Red Bull F1 Team has revealed exactly what Max Verstappen needs to do if he is to win his first world title this season. There are five races to go in the current campaign, with only 12 points separating the Dutch driver from Lewis Hamilton.
The seven-time world champion fell further behind the 24-year-old last time out at the United States Grand Prix, as the younger driver kept his more experienced adversary at arm’s length.
Despite a late charge from Hamilton in his Mercedes with fresher tyres, Verstappen managed to find the pace to keep ahead an cross the finish line 1.3 seconds in front of his title rival.
