Kelly Kay, the girlfriend of late athlete Spencer Webb, has given birth to a baby boy eight months after his death.
The college athlete and Oregon Ducks tight end died last July at the age of 22, following a cliff-diving accident.
In the wake of the tragedy, Kay confirmed that she was pregnant with their first child together, and has now welcomed a son.
Taking to Instagram, the new mom posted the first photos of their little one, revealing how she honored her boyfriend with his name.
Alongside the snaps, which showed her cradling the newborn on her chest while covered in an Oregon Ducks blanket, she simply penned: ‘Spider Webb 🕷️🕸️ 3/30/23.’
Fans were quick to flood the model’s comments with congratulatory messages and support over her new arrival.
‘Oh Kelly!! Congrats on your Angel baby,’ a follower wrote.
‘This is amazing! Wishing you both so much health and happiness,’ another agreed.
One said: ‘Sweet sweet sweet perfect name for a perfect baby.’
