    FT – South Korean parliament resists president’s martial law declaration

    The chaos in South Korea leads the Financial Times after the country’s president declared martial law – later rejected by the country’s parliament.

    Elsewhere, Nomura chief apologises after ex-banker charged with trying to murder clients: He said chief executive Kentaro Okuda would voluntarily return 30% of his pay for three months. In addition, nine other Nomura directors and executives will return 20% to 30% of their pay for the same period.
