Sir Jim Ratcliffe is targeting three new summer signings for Manchester United and is ready to approve a ‘significant transfer spend’, according to reports.
Ratcliffe’s £1.3 billion partial takeover of United was officially completed this week and the petrochemicals billionaire has already set about making significant changes to the club’s hierarchy.
However, Ratcliffe has stressed that he is prioritising United’s performance levels on the pitch and is aiming for the team to ‘be playing best football in the world’.
Ratcliffe is already set to oversee a major clear-out at the end of the season with several first-team players set to leave Old Trafford.
