I’m fighting demons, says Simone Biles after quitting Olympic final
The Times says Simone Biles has withdrawn from her next event at the Tokyo Olympics to raise fresh questions about whether she will compete again at the Games.
After further medical evaluation, USA Gymnastics confirmed that Biles had withdrawn from the final individual all-around competition tomorrow. It follows her dramatic exit from the team final after just one vault went badly awry and Biles disclosed that she was battling “demons”.
