‘She’s vulnerable!’ Curtice pinpoints Nicola Sturgeon’s Achilles heel in referendum row
The Daily Express says: NICOLA STURGEON is in the last chance saloon and has a “point of vulnerability”, polling expert Sir John Curtice has claimed.
While the SNP has a dominant position in Holyrood, Sir John claimed the First Minister’s future lies with being able to satisfy her diehard voters. If the First Minister fails to capitalise on the party’s dominance in Holyrood to hold a referendum in the near future, she may lose support to the rival Alba Party, the polling expert added. Although the party failed to win any seats in the Holyrood Parliament, Sir John told Express.co.uk Alba may provide a suitable home for supporters who are frustrated with Ms Sturgeon.
