Shaun Ryder shared an absolutely horrifying childhood story on Friday night’s Gogglebox.
The I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! star was among the stars sitting on the couch for the special Celebrity Gogglebox on June 16.
Among the news lines, animal documentaries and an incredibly steamy Columbian drama on Netflix, the celebs sat back to watch The Yorkshire Vet.
One worried pet owner had brought their elderly mouse in for surgery as it got an infection in their eye, and the vet operated to remove it.
Leading to Shaun telling a childhood story that would make even the most stoic among us cringe.
He revealed that when he was a little boy, his grandfather had a glass eye, which he would pop out with his fingers as a party trick.

Shaun, young as he was at the time, decided he wanted to do the same – and made his mother watch as he literally, genuinely, dug around and popped out his eye.
He recalled candidly: ‘It was on me cheek.’
The not-so-sweet childhood story made more than a few viewers queasy, with one taking to Twitter to write simply: ‘Shaun Ryder’s eye story,’ along with a puking face.
Along with Shaun, Celebrity Gogglebox was packed full of famous faces, including Katherine Ryan and her husband, Tom Grennan and his dad, Davina McCall and her boyfriend and Shaun’s Happy Monday’s co-star Bez.
Gogglebox airs Fridays from 9pm on Channel 4
