After Sex and the City fans were left delirious at news of Kim Cattrall’s And Just Like That cameo, a fellow cast member has taken a swipe at her.
The Canadian actress, born in Liverpool, 66, became a household name after playing public relations expert Samantha in the ground-breaking US series.
Rumours of a feud between Kim and fellow Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker, 58, emerged back in the mid-2000s following the show’s conclusion.
This meant Kim was absent for reboot And Just Like That, but in earth-shattering news she revealed she’d be making a cameo appearance in upcoming episodes.
Since then, however, fellow Sex and the City cast member Evan Handler has made a cheeky dig against his former co-star.
Speaking to People, Evan didn’t sound pleased with her return: ‘Apparently [her cameo] was shot in a garage somewhere with no contact with anybody.’

He continued, confirming he never interacted with Kim during filming: ‘The only place I have to welcome her is into my living room when it airs on television.’
In addition, Evan admitted that he only learned of Samantha’s return on June 2, the same day as everyone else, when Kim confirmed the news on Instagram.
Evan became best known on the original series for playing Harry Goldenblatt, husband to main character Charlotte, and reprised his role in the new series.

He entered the series midway through as Charlotte’s divorce lawyer, before they fell in love and eventually got married themselves.
Despair amongst fans turned to delight when it was confirmed Kim would be reprising her role, but new details might take some of the shine off her return.
And it appears viewers will be waiting a while to see Samantha as well, with her cameo appearance scheduled for the final episode of new season.
Kim recently insisted she’s left Samantha behind, and feels fans now associate her with other projects before Sex and The City.
She said at a party just weeks ago, a fan came rushing over and said: ‘I’m just obsessed with it.’
And of course (I thought) she meant Sex And The City,’ Kim told The Times. ‘But she was talking about How I Met Your Father.’
