NHS consultants have voted to go on strike next month in the fight for more pay.
86% of British Medical Association (BMA) members backed the walkout on July 20 and 21.
It’ll take place just days after a five-day strike by junior doctors is set to end on the 18th.
BMA consultants committee chair Dr Vishal Sharma said the vote showed how ‘furious’ they were at being repeatedly devalued by the government.
