Daily Express - Do you really want to scrap pensions triple lock again?

Summary of the front page

Millions of pensioners fear more hardship after new PM Rishi Sunak seemed to backtrack on a 10% triple lock rise promised by his predecessor Liz Truss before she left Number 10, according to the Daily Express.

The paper also says Mr Sunak and chancellor Jeremy Hunt could be “considering a raid” on money earmarked for pensioners in a bid to fill a £40bn black hole in government coffers.

The front page also reports on 10,000 Albanian men crossing the channel on small boats and Nigella Lawson’s pasta.
