‘Scared’ Jorgie Porter’s terror as home is hit by burglars who climbed the fence

Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has detailed the terrifying moment burglars climbed over her fence to try and rob her house.

The actress, who plays Theresa McQueen in the show, told her Instagram followers about the ordeal.

In a video uploaded to her Instagram Stories, Jorgie is seen holding baby Forest, who she shares with partner Ollie Piotrowski.

She said: ‘I’m really upset and really scared and angry that our house was almost robbed last night. People tried to get in.

‘They came over the gate. Obviously it’s been planned because all the cables have been cut. The Wifi has been cut in the area. Our alarm was taken off the wall. They’ve really planned it. Sick.’

Jorgie continued: ‘It’s really scary. I want to say thank you to the police for turning up really quickly last night – and how many there were. It actually made us feel a little bit safe.

‘I’m just so angry. Why would people want to come – it’s just so upsetting. I hope nobody is put in this position because it’s really horrible. I hope they just get what’s coming to them.’

The birth of Jorgie’s son Forest followed a tragedy when she lost her quadruplets at 14 weeks in 2021.

In an episode of Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast, Happy Mum Happy Baby, Jorgie recently discussed becoming pregnant with quadruplets and the emotional ordeal she went through after being told the embryos had stopped developing.

‘We obviously thought, this is a huge risk. There’s all these complications and all these scary moments of what could happen’, she explained.

‘I don’t remember them [the doctors and nurses] talking much about quads, because they’d never come across this!

‘I don’t think they had much to say to us about it but we’d obviously Google stuff, and you just see the most extreme things.

‘You can lose one, you can lose two, and then they spoke about terminating one and terminating two and I thought, I am not going to take one away from a pack.’

‘It was about three or four months later on in the scans, they were like, “now they’ve not developed any further, we’re going to have to get rid of them, take them out.’

Jorgie also spoke to Giovanna about the moment she fell pregnant with Forest, revealing that the ordeal with the quads understandably impacted her reaction to the news.

‘I told friends and family around us and they were a bit on pins because no one wanted to get excited for us. I thought, okay, we can’t really tell everyone again but I told my closest friends as I needed the support.

‘We had to get to the milestones before I let us get excited. I remember Ollie going, let’s go to the Trafford Centre and get a baby grow! I felt like a bit of a fraud. I was like, I don’t know. But I had a big bump, and I was waddling and then thought, it’s time to do these things.

‘We got the baby grow and a blanket. And I was like, “Oh my god. Okay, I think we can get excited!”.’
