Sara Sharif, 10, found dead in Woking house named locally
A girl found dead in a house in Surrey has been named locally as Sara Sharif.
Sharif, 10, was found alone in the house at about 02:50 BST on 10 August and police are looking for three people known to the girl who have left the country.
No arrests have been made yet.
On Tuesday afternoon, a post-mortem examination will be held.
Police have yet to formally identify the girl and investigators remain at the property.
Police say the three people they want to talk to are believed to had left the county on 9 August. International authorities are working with Surrey police to locate them.
A Surrey Police spokesperson said: “Detectives have confirmed that no other people were present at the address when they attended in the early hours of Thursday morning.
“The three people they would like to speak to were known to the victim. Formal identification is yet to take place, but we understand the child has been named locally.”
The girl’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
