Coronation Street’s Samia Longchambon has shared some brilliant throwback pictures to celebrate her co-star and friend Jane Danson’s birthday.
Jane, who plays Leanne Battersby in the show, is celebrating her birthday today (November 8) and has shared a number of messages from her friends on social media.
One of them is from Samia, who has played Maria Connor since 2000.
Samia created a photo collage on her Instagram Stories, featuring a number of snaps of her and Jane throughout the many years they’ve been friends.

Jane has portrayed Leanne on and off since 1997. Sister to Toyah (Georgia Taylor), Leanne can often be seen working in the Bistro with Nick (Ben Price) and Ryan (Ryan Connor).
Two years ago, during Super Soap Week, Leanne was involved in a storyline that ultimately led to Natasha Blakeman’s (Rachel Leskovac) death.

After drug dealer Harvey (Will Mellor) escaped from a prison van, he made his way back to the cobbles to try and get revenge on Leanne.
Planning on shooting Leanne, Harvey ended up killing Natasha due to both characters wearing the same Morticia Addams Halloween outfit.
