Sajid Javid suddenly CANCELS all planned appearances as No10 panic over leaked video
The Daily Express says SAJID JAVID has cancelled a series of media interviews this morning as No10 struggles to contain the backlash over a leaked video of aides joking about a Downing Street Christmas party.
The Health Secretary was due to tour TV and radio studios this morning to make one year since the vaccine rollout. But after a video leaked last night of Downing Street aides joking about a lockdown breaking party, he has withdrawn at the last minute.
In footage obtained by ITV News last night, the Prime Minister’s then-press secretary Allegra Stratton can be seen taking part in a mock press conference.
