Rylan Clark has shared a health update after his mum ended up in hospital while they were on holiday together.
Last week the TV presenter, 34, said he was ‘praying’ for mum Linda after the 71-year-old was hospitalised following a fall.
They had been enjoying their first holiday together in ‘a good few years’ when Linda experienced’ quite a bad fall’ that saw her rushed into surgery.
A few days later Rylan posted a photo of her smiling in hospital, despite having her left leg strapped up and her right arm in a sling.
Now he’s begun the process of bringing her home to recover, but has revealed it’s cost him ‘an arm and a leg to do so’.
Sharing a photo of a charter plane on a runway on Instagram, Rylan wrote: ‘She might have broke an arm and a leg but she’s cost me an arm and a leg!

‘Massive thank you to the amazing team and surgeons at @helicopterossanitarios. Thanks for looking after my mum x.’
The presenter also shared a photo of his mum on a stretcher being taken onto the plane by a paramedic, as well as another of Linda as she settled in for her flight home once on board.

Despite the fact her arm was still bandaged up, Linda seemed to be laughing off the fuss that was being made about her, looking like she was shaking her head at the camera with her hand raised as her son took the snaps.
Rylan initially shared the news on social media, explaining: ‘So unfortunately I took my mum away on her first holiday in a good few years and sadly she’s had quite a bad fall, resulting in her having to have surgery out here.
‘She’s not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated.

‘Praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Will update you on mummy Linda as and when I can x.’
Assuring fans that Linda was still cracking jokes, he said she made sure to check she was still going to be getting ‘a new driveway.
‘She’s deffo come round,’ he added.
Linda regularly makes appearances on Rylan’s radio show on Celebrity Gogglebox.
Following his split from husband of six years Dan Neal, Rylan moved back in with his mum, who looked after him as he struggled with depression.
