Bayern Munich star Ryan Gravenberch has held talks over a move to join Manchester United and would like to work with Erik ten Hag again.
The midfielder played under Ten Hag at Ajax before joining Bayern Munich in 2022.
A deal for Gravenberch to move to Bavaria was agreed long before Ten Hag’s appointment at Old Trafford, otherwise the Dutchman would have liked to bring the midfielder with him to the Theatre of Dreams.
Gravenberch’s move to the Allianz Arena has been gone far from planned, with the midfielder minded to leave the club after making just 33 appearances across all competitions last term.
Thomas Tuchel has provided no guarantees to the Netherlands international over playing time and competition has only increased following the arrival of Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig.
Gravenberch now wants to leave the club and Sport Italia say United are now in talks with Bayern over a move for the midfielder.

United were already in dialogue with the Germans over a move for Benjamin Pavard, but Bayern rejected the Red Devils’ opening proposal.
With Harry Maguire now set to stay at Old Trafford, a move for Pavard looks unlikely.
Gravenberch is said to be keen on playing under Ten Hag again, and would favour a move to United over Liverpool.
The midfielder has an offer on the table from Liverpool, who have a long-term interest in the Dutchman.
The Reds are desperate for midfield reinforcements having missed out on Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.
But Gravenberch wants to remain in the Champions League and would prefer to work with Ten Hag, should Bayern listen to offers for him.
