King Charles hugs grandchildren during Coronation rehearsal
King Charles has delivered one final snub to seal Harry and Meghan’s fate by omitting them from his Christmas Day speech. Furthermore, there is also no mention of the pair in the BBC’s documentary about his Coronation.
The documentary about King Charles’s Coronation was broadcast on Christmas Day and featured not a single mention of either Prince Harry or Meghan Markle despite more minor royals being featured.
Despite the omission of Prince Harry from the documentary, according to viewing figures, it was the most-watched programme on TV in the UK that day. Around 3.7 million people tuned in to the special and also looked in depth at King Charles’s first year on the throne.
The airing of the documentary comes as speculation continues on what Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the Royal Family will look like in 2024 after an eventful 2023 which saw two controversial books about the pair published.

King Charles ditches key plan for future of monarchy having been overshadowed by Sussexes
A royal expert has said King Charles’ successful 2023 was overshadowed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk that despite Harry and Meghan the King has “done well”. He explained: “King Charles has had, it is generally felt, a good first year as monarch with well-handled trips abroad and well-selected activities.
“However there is no doubt that much of it has been overshadowed by the activities of the Sussexes. Harry’s highly controversial memoir, Spare and the bizarre leaking of names in Omid Scobie’s Endgame caused a huge furore.
“Harry’s win against the Mirror Group after a court appearance will almost certainly lead to further appearances in court.”

Prince Harry ‘red with anger’ at Meghan Markle’s story of when she met the Queen
A royal expert has said Prince Harry‘s face “said it all” when Meghan Markle did an exaggerated curtsey before meeting the late Queen Elizabeth II. The meeting between the pair was brought up during Harry and Meghan’s Netflix series last year. Meghan described meeting the Queen for the first time as “surreal”.
She said: “It wasn’t like some big moment of like, ‘Now you’re going to meet my grandmother,” Meghan said. “I didn’t know I was going to meet her until moments before.
“And I remember we were in the car and we were driving up and he’s like ‘You know how to curtsy right?’ And I just thought it was a joke.”

Harry and Meghan ‘not waiting around for a comeback’
According to one expert, Harry and Meghan aren’t waiting around as they plan a huge comeback. Speaking to the Daily Express, Mark Boardman said the pair were “certainly not waiting” for something to come around.
Mr Boardman added that the pair were “actively shaping their narrative” and that the pair would be “inundated with various offers”. On whether they could see a revival in Hollywood, Mr Boardman said: “Regarding the potential Hollywood comeback for Harry and Meghan in 2024, with multimillion-dollar deals in place for multiple book deals, ownership of publication rights to a novel, besides running the Archewell Foundation, the Sussexes are actively shaping their narrative and are certainly not waiting for something to happen.
“I know from years working in the media that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will indeed certainly be inundated with various offers to attend events and support good causes.”
