Richard Osman has responded to criticism over his Pointless replacement.
Back in April, the much-loved TV host announced that he was stepping back from the game show after nearly 13 years in the hot-seat.
The 51-year-old gameshow host’s shoes have now been filled by new host, actress Sally Lindsay – but BBC One fans aren’t so sure about the new Pointless front-woman.
Sally, 49 said she was ‘so excited’ as she joined regular host Alexander Armstrong on the long-running BBC show on Tuesday as part of an all-star line-up of guest presenters. However, Pointless fans couldn’t quite get their heads around the new agenda.
Coronation Street actress Sally, as well as Alex Brooker, Lauren Laverne, Stephen Mangan, Konnie Huq and Ed Gamble have all been confirmed as special guests hosts taking it in turns.
