Ralf Rangnick appointed as Man Utd interim manager until end of the season
The Daily Mirror says Manchester United have officially confirmed Ralf Rangnick as the club’s new interim manager for the remainder of the season.
The former RB Leipzig boss will spend the remaining six months of the Premier League season as United manager, before transitioning into a two-year consultancy role.
The latter role is arguably just as noteworthy as his imminent presence in the Old Trafford hot-seat, given the club have been lacking direction from the top of the hierarchy throughout the post- Sir Alex Ferguson era.
