Vladimir Putin has observed a series of new nuclear drills carried out by Russian forces.
State media has broadcast a security meeting in which the Kremlin leader could be seen watching military exercises unfold on screen.
The drill is said to imitate ‘a massive nuclear strike in response to an enemy nuclear strike.’
The last time a similar meeting was held was a few days before Ukraine was invaded.
