A female prison officer who engaged in phone sex with inmates has been jailed.
Emma Webster secretly spoke with two of the men behind bars at HMP Lincoln and sent intimate pictures of herself.
The 34-year-old’s inappropriate relationships with the prisoners happened during August and November last year before other staff became suspicious.
Guards in charge of monitoring phone calls noticed both men had added an ‘Emma Smith’ to their list of contacts in the outside world.
Staff noticed similarities between ‘Emma Smith’ and Webster, such as their birth date, and one soon realised he recognised the voice on the other end of the phone.
Prison bosses recorded 17 calls with Bradley Bramwell, then a further 75 calls with Jimmy Bennet, during which they engaged in phone sex.
The court heard Webster and Bramwell had mutual friends outside of prison and how she provided him with a cousin’s address so she could receive gifts from him.
Lauren Fisher, prosecuting, said: ‘She formed an inappropriate relationship with two inmates…
‘The relationship extended to accepting gifts and unauthorised contact by both letter and phone call on occasions of a sexual nature.’

After several highly explicit phone calls, the relationship soured over whether or not a present worth £200 had been received by Webster and contact ended.
Eight days later, the prisoner officer moved to a different wing and started chatting to Jimmy Bennet.
Ms Fisher added: ‘Whilst Miss Webster was working night shifts another prisoner, Jimmy Bennet, appeared to be pressing his cell buzzer more frequently.
‘He had also added an Emma Smith to his phone list.
‘Phone calls between them started on October 25, some eight days after things between Miss Webster and Mr Bramwell had come to an end.’
During one intimate call, the guard told the inmate she loved him and thought of him as her boyfriend.

Neil Sands, defending, said her client had acted out of character following the breakdown of a relationship.
The mum-of-two from Lincoln was charged with misconduct in public office and pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
Sentencing her to 14 months, Judge Sjolin Knight said the defendant had ‘chased the attention’ rather than being manipulated by the pair.
She said: ‘You had a position of trust and authority at HMP Lincoln, a category B prison.
‘In that public position you misconducted yourself between August and November 2021 by engaging in a relationship with one prisoner and then another.
‘You communicated with them via letters and calls and smuggling articles into prison.’
